Medicine Ball
A medicine ball, also known as the exercise ball or fitness ball, is a weighted ball used by the boxing professionals to improve the strength of the abdominal muscles. Widely used for the rehabilitation and strength training, the medicine ball serves significantly in the field of sports medicine. Medicine balls are generally sold as 2–25 lb. balls and are used widely and effectively in the plyometric weight training to enhance the explosive power in athletes in all types of sports. Some medicine balls are also available in the form of weighted basketballs.
